Jeep Compass and Patriot owners (2007-2017 models with the 2.0L or 2.4L engine), listen up! If you're towing, driving in hot climates, or just want to extend the life of your automatic transmission, an auxiliary oil cooler is a great upgrade. This is a direct replacement aluminum transmission oil cooler. It's designed to mount in front of the radiator and helps lower the temperature of your transmission fluid. Cooler fluid means less wear on internal parts and can prevent overheating, which is a common cause of transmission failure. The part number is 68025160AA (also fits 2920A141). It's an unbranded but new part that comes with a 1-year warranty. Please note: mounting hardware is not included, so you might need some brackets or lines depending on your exact setup. Installation requires some mechanical knowledge, as you'll need to splice it into the transmission cooling lines.
