Is your ceiling fan acting up? Maybe it won't start, hums loudly, or only works on one speed? Chances are the capacitor is toast. This is a super common CBB61 type capacitor with 5 wires and three values: 5uf, 6uf, and 4.5uf. It's what controls the different speed settings on many household ceiling fans. Brand is New Tech, and it's made in China. Comes brand new in its packaging. Replacing it is a pretty straightforward DIY electrical fix if you're comfortable working with power (ALWAYS TURN OFF THE CIRCUIT BREAKER FIRST!). Just take a picture of how the old one is wired, disconnect it, and connect this new one exactly the same way. Much cheaper than calling an electrician or buying a whole new fan. If your fan's lights work but the blades won't spin, this little $5 part is usually the culprit. A quick fix to get the breeze going again!
